Cupcakes

Here are more pictures of my cupcakes. I used whole wheat flour for this batch. Didn't taste as good as all purpose flour. I also tried using souffle cups for this ones. Whoever came up with this idea, although it was good, it was not practical at all. We had trouble removing the cupcakes ... But they are great when transporting the cupcakes, they are really sturdy.

Pandan Genoise

My genoise tastes better with icing. However, since I didn't have sufficient ingredients for the buttercream frosting, I was not able make it. Therefore, the cake was a bit dry. Still tastes good though. Not sweet at all.
Now, if only my research comes out as successful ...

Cupcakes

Would you like some cupcakes? They are fun to work on ... that is when everything worked the way you wanted them. I actually had a busy weekend baking. I made cupcakes, a banana cake and a genoise. I still need to work on my frosting. A tad too sweet ... here are some pictures of my cupcakes. I made blueberry cupcakes. Some have cinnamon crumbs on top. The cupcakes are not as sweet, so I hope the frosting would balance the sweetness of the cupcakes.

The Freshmen

I was in love with this song ten odd years ago and when I heard it again recently, I am still in love with this song. When I first heard it, I was told that the song was about a girl who committed suicide because she loved a guy who did not return the love. His best friend was upset and tried to forget her. This phrase is open to your own interpretation, he may have loved her too.
However, truth be told, it is actually about the singer's ex-girlfriend who had an abortion (stop a baby's breath) and he felt guilty about it. His best friend felt guilty about the abortion too.

In 2001, Brian Vander Ark explained what the song means to him on Verve Pipe's bulletin boards:
"When I was young I knew everything" - We all think we know everything at a young age. I thought I did. I realize I didn't know sh*t until I was 36.
"And she, a Punk who rarely took advice" - How many people do we know like that?
"Now I'm guilt-stricken, sobbing, with my head on the floor" - Something happened that caused this reaction, but I wouldn't want to give that away this early in the song, so let's throw in an some ambiguity:"Stop a baby's breath, and a shoe full of rice, no" - First of all, forget the NO. Stop a baby's breath is just that. Abort the baby. A shoe full of rice is a result of a wedding. So - stop a baby's breath AND then you stop a wedding. She's pregnant, get her to abort, and then there's no wedding. And you know what?
"I can't be held responsible, cause she was touching her face" - When I wrote this song, The Divinyls had a song out called 'I Touch Myself.' The TV was on, she was touching her face in the video. Very sexy. So, I can't be held responsible because she was trying to be sexy, trying to seduce me, etc.
"I won't be held responsible, she fell in love in the first place" - I didn't tell her to fall in love.
"For the life of me, I cannot remember what made us think that we were wise, and we'd never compromise" - What was I thinking back then? Who am I to put a girl though that? Why was I unable to compromise? Guilty feelings.
"For the life of me, I cannot believe we'd ever die for these sins, we were merely freshmen" - We were just kids, let it go, we all make mistakes, etc.
"My best friend took a week's vacation to forget her" - He needed to get away because of what happened.
"His girl took a week's worth of Valium and slept" - This is why this song is not that strong literally - it's confusing. HIS girl is MY girl. the same girl that had the abortion has now killed herself.
"Now he's guilt-stricken, sobbing with his head on the floor, thinks about her now and how he never really wept he says" - He has the same guilty feelings that I do about the abortion and death.
"We tried to wash our hands of all of this, we never talk of our lacking relationships" - We rarely spoke after the incident - we just tried to forget it. We never spoke of her or the fact that we can't have a decent relationship with anyone since then.
"We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip" - No matter how careful you might be, there are other perils out there. The girl is real, the abortion is real. the death is not. it's poetic license to make the story more interesting.

The Freshmen

When I was young I knew everything
And she a punk who rarely ever took advice
Now I'm guilt stricken, sobbin' with my head on the floor
Stop a baby's breath and a shoe full of rice, no...

I can't be held responsible
'Cause she was touching her face
I won't be held responsible
She fell in love in the first place

For the life of me
I cannot remember
What made us think that we were wise and we'd never compromise
For the life of me
I cannot believe we'd ever die for these sins
We were merely freshmen

My best friend took a week's vacation to forget her
His girl took a week's worth of valium and slept
And now he's guilt stricken sobbin' with his head on the floor
Thinks about her now and how he never really wept he says

I can't be held responsible
'Cause she was touching her face
I won't be held responsible
She fell in love in the first place

For the life of me
I cannot remember
What made us think that we were wise and we'd never compromise
For the life of me
I cannot believe we'd ever die for these sins
We were merely freshmen

We've tried to wash our hands of all of this
We never talk of our lacking relationships
And how we're guilt stricken sobbin' with our heads on the floor
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip, we'd say

I can't be held responsible
'Cause she was touching her face
And I won't be held responsible
She fell in love in the first place

For the life of me
I cannot remember
What made us think that we were wise and we'd never compromise
For the life of me
I cannot believe we'd ever die for these sins
We were merely freshmen

For the life of me
I cannot remember
What made us think that we were wise and we'd never compromise
For the life of me I cannot believe we'd ever die for these sins
We were merely freshmen
We were merely freshmen
We were only freshmen

Life Traffic

Friday the 13th was awesome. I got to see KOOZA and spent my weekly allowance getting some souvenirs. On Saturday, we had an excellent breakfast at the terminal market. Bought a piece of shoofly pie and apple dumpling. I made 'gimongous' cinnamon banana nut muffins in the evening. I forgot what I did on Sunday. By Tuesday morning I was so cranky because I got to go to school. Sophie joined the Cranky Club too coz she had to take a ride in the car with me. So it's hump day today, which means that weekend is just round the corner. When it's time for us to go home, Sophie is the only one left in the Cranky Club coz she still doesn't like the ride home. I think she thinks that she's human coz she likes to imitate me, except when we tried to dress her because then started to walk weird and reallll ssslllooowwww

The longest month

It has been the longest May I've ever experienced. Everyday was a struggle for me, too much to do, not enough time to do them. All I did was study, study, study, except an occasional baking during the weekend to release some frustration. The results were finally out today. I passed! I passed! I passed! It is a very happy moment indeed for me. So now I can be elevated to candidacy. And how are we going to celebrate it? Eat and a trip to Cirque du Soleil. Woohoo!!!! This time it's the Kooza's Cirque du Soleil. I am beyond excited!! 2 years ago, we went to Quidam and it was freaking awesome. Cirque du Soleil ... je viendrai.

I made more cinnamon rolls yesterday. They may look cute, but they still ended up in my stomach. Eat it plain or serve it with cream cheese frosting.

My first bread

Well, I finally did it. This is the first bread that I made. I was worried it wouldn't rise the second time after I punched it down, but it did. And the end result is shown above. Taste pretty darn good too, if I may say so. Wheat flour the next time? Hmm ...

Cakes, cakes and more cakes

So for last week, I baked blueberries pound cake. Oh my goodness, it was so moist and delicious. I am finally able to bake a decent cake. I still need to work on the presentation, but for now, the taste and texture are more important.
And today, I made cinnamon rolls. Boy oh boy, I thought I would not be able to make them since the recipe called for yeast, but I was wrong. They came out good. I did not take any picture of them coz most of them went straight into my stomach. Maybe I should try baking a bread next.

Banana coconut cake

This banana coconut cake is so good. You can eat it as is, or toast it, then serve with ice cream. If only there are more friends around here, I would be doing a lot more baking.

Happy New Year

Another new year is here. Hopefully, this year is better than the last one. New year resolution: THIS and THAT, especially to be more patient with the mixing during baking. Happy New Year everybody.

Chocolate Cake 2

Got a new spoon rest to add to my collection.

This is another version of chocolate cake. I like this one better because it has less chocolate in it.

Chocolate Cake

My second attempt to baking this chocolate cake. It worked, but too 'chocolatey' for me.

My present

I am so excited in finally getting these measuring cups and spoons . I hope they will serve me well in my baking adventures. I baked 2 cakes today, a honeycomb cake and a chocolate moist cake. However the chocolate moist did not rise because I used the wrong flour. I know better in the future to double check the flour. I am slowly collecting these stainless steel containers and kitchen appliances. My new interest.

Honeycomb cake

I finally found the recipe for one of my favorite cake. Baked it the first time and it came out perfect.

Whiskey Lullaby

She put him out like the burnin' end of a midnight cigarette
She broke his heart he spent his whole life tryin' to forget
We watched him drink his pain away a little at a time
But he never could get drunk enough to get her off his mind
Until the night

He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away her memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength he had to get up off his knees
We found him with his face down in the pillow
With a note that said I'll love her till I die
And when we buried him beneath the willow
The angels sang a whiskey lullaby

The rumors flew but nobody knew how much she blamed herself
For years and years she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath
She finally drank her pain away a little at a time
But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind
Until the night

She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away his memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength she had to get up off her knees
We found her with her face down in the pillow
Clinging to his picture for dear life
We laid her next to him beneath the willow
While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby

This love

This love
This love is a strange love
In that it can lift a love
This love

This love
I think I'm gonna fall again
And ever when you held the hand
And turn 'em in your fingers, love

This love
Now rehearsed we stay, love
Doesn't know it is love
This love

This love
Doesn't have to feel love
Doesn't care to be love
It doesn't mean a thing
This love

This love loves love
It's a strange love, strange love
This love

This love
This love is a strange love, strange love
I'm gonna fall again love
Doesn't mean a thing
Think I'm gonna fall again
This Love

Come and I'll bring you

To the drive-in theatre where we will be watching movies till wee hours of the morning

The Promise

If you wait for me then I'll come for you
Although I've traveled far
I always hold a place for you in my heart

If you think of me
If you miss me once in awhile
Then I'll return to you
I'll return and fill that space in your heart

Remembering
Your touch
Your kiss
Your warm embrace
I'll find my way back to you
If you'll be waiting

If you dream of me like I dream of you
In a place that's warm and dark
In a place where I can feel the beating of your heart

Remembering
Your touch
Your kiss
Your warm embrace
I'll find my way back to you
If you'll be waiting

I've longed for you and I have desired
To see your face your smile
To be with you wherever you are

Remembering
Your touch
Your kiss
Your warm embrace
I'll find my way back to you
Please say you'll be waiting

Together again
It would feel so good to be
In your arms
Where all my journeys end
If you can make a promise
If it's one that you can keep,
I vow to come for you
If you wait for me and say you'll hold
A place for me in your heart.

A sense of you

One step away from all I want and I know it's all here
Afraid to move Afraid to choose Afraid of my own fear
Of times when I may not be strong
Places where I may not belong
But I hold onto this feeling
That stands above all feelings
Tellin' me not to let go
And I live on this feeling
The greatest of all feelings
Tellin' me not to grow cold
Please help me get through and let me in you

-E

HOT!!!

It was so hot and stifling today. The termometer was pointing to around upper 90s, but it seemed more than 100 degrees. I was hot and cold from going out and working in the hood with the flame going. I am so glad it's Friday. I am looking forward for the weekend doing absolutely nothing or everything after vet visit for Sofia.

Eppure Sentire (Un Senso Di Te)

A un passo dal possibile
A un passo da te
Paura di decidere
Paura di me

Di tutto quello che non so
Di tutto quello che non ho

Eppure sentire
Nei fiori tra l'asfalto
Nei cieli di cobalto - c'è

Eppure sentire
Nei sogni in fondo a un pianto
Nei giorni di silenzio - c'è

un senso di te
mmm...mmm...mmm...mmm...
C'è un senso di te
mmm...mmm...mmm...mmm...

Eppure sentire
Nei fiori tra l'asfalto
Nei cieli di cobalto - c'è

Eppure sentire

Nei giorni di silenzio - c'è

Un senso di te
mmm...mmm...mmm...mmm...

Look both way

In the pursuit of fulfilling one or another person's happiness, people tend to overlook the practicality and ignore others feelings. Some will pursue blindly without weighing the consequences while others will ponder on the outcomes of their choices. Most of the time, these outcomes are something that most do not want to hear. But they are necessary because one would be prepared if they do arise. When you make a decision to do something, think about others' conundrums. Not everyone has a life as yours. Most of us have legal, financial and professional matters to worry. Do not assume you know what is going on in our life. Whatever we do, we do it for a reason, not out of indolence or troublesomeness. You do not know our living condition, or the difficulty we have to go through to have a normal life. When you have a problem, help is always there. When we have a problem, we have to figure it ourselves. Our lives do not revolve around one matter. Unlike yours, we cannot afford to drop everything, or lose a job or even a car. Look both way. Think carefully before you start hurling the words out.

My Journey - Amelia's tale

Today marks the 2999th day, the day still fresh in my mind as though it happened just yesterday. It is also the eve of my pledge, if I may say so. I still count each day as it moves further and further from our final encounter. I grasp the memory tighter as it advances. I refuse to put it in writing for fear of being known to others. I do not remember what I ate three days ago, but I make sure that I do not let the only souvenir of you slip from me. My journey, though arduous, seemed minute compare to our goodbye. I sometimes wished that you would have understood and stayed, but reality forced me to accept otherwise. It was unfair to anyone, especially to the one you gave your all. The uncertainties were overbearing, the future was bleak, I may not even made it considering the situation at that time. Miraculously, we won ... and everything were put in order, and I was free to go. I went back to our city, found a job, work hard, but always have time for you before I close my eyes, no matter how weary it gets. Once in blue moon, I thought I saw a glimpse of you, but it was the ray or the flare playing tricks on me. I told myself I would let you go, uncage the memory; you may have found another and be a father to little version of you and her. And so I have decided, on the 3000th day, I would say my final farewell.

What language are you speaking/writing?

The English language is being abused more than ever before. I can read a blog and have no idea what the person is trying to convey. Do they ever proof read his/her blog? Sometimes you can tell that a sentence was translated directly from another language, other time it is just plain bad. For those who has been speaking the language since they are young, for the love of God, do not torture it. I am pretty sure you do not wish anyone to abuse your native language either, given that English is not your native language.
Be sophisticated, but be realistic.

What will the future hold?

Last week was an aberrant week, mentally. I commenced in my permanent lab, with a august determination. Then on second day came the news. It gave me mixed feeling about going home or staying here. I wanted to go home but I will have problem with paperworks. Staying here meant I missed paying my last respect. Mum said it was no point since it'd take about 2 days plus more with the seat availability. So I can only ask the wind the deliver the message. It will be strange to go home to an empty house. I know a lot of people will feel different too.
I hope I will be able to go home come summer. It will be a busy and crazy trip, but a good one. I'm still in the nonchalant mood, but it will be different once I got the ticket. Then come the paperwork.
The weather had been queer too. One day it was spring like, next it was freezing, then it warmed up. I hope it stays warm from now on. It tends to make everyone happy. That's what one needs over here among the darkness. The daffodils are almost blooming, the buds are getting bigger. I can't wait to start my new flower garden, just hope the squirrels do not get to them first.
Finally, time to let go. Birds of a feather flock together. What more can be said about that?

Elephant Woman

Angel I can see myself in your eyes
Angel won’t you feel for me from your heart
Do return my heart to me
No don’t insist
I’m already hurt

Elephant girl
It was an accident unfortunate
Angel threw me like a rubber man
Aiming for the ground
Why amuse yourself in such way
No don’t insist
I’m already hurt

Lay me down on the ground softly softly
Don’t remove my head hurts much too much

You never return it
Well I wouldn’t miss it
I shed no tears for broken me
You never know it my peace of mind
Now inside and outside are matching

Why amuse yourself in such a way
No don’t insist I’m already hurt
If you never return it
Will it break your wings
Will you shed no tear for broken me

Are you kidding me? Seriously?!!

Read this article written by a M'sian man. I presume this represents around 75% of the male population in M'sia? (I am being kind here, seriously). How ignorant and stupid he sounded, and unfortunately, he did not even realize that. Or maybe, just maybe ... he was being sarcastic? I will let you decide.

Woman - Nothing but Trouble

Posted by: jcyh1981 Post(s) by this blogger
Woman, please, I beg you to stop wearing skimpy clothes. Spaghetti straps and tube tops are definitely out of the topic. They will only make us ogle at you and we might get sore eyes! Remember, we are the ones working hard to bring back bread for you to be put on the table. So, don’t distract us from our work, so that we can bring in more daily bread to feed you.
Bikinis or swimming suits when you go swimming? No way! If this continues, we will have no more swimming champions in the men’s category, as we will be busy looking at you with no time left for practice.
Short skirts? No, no! It’s not desirable. Have you forgotten that they can attract CCTV cameras to zoom in on you? Malu, you know? People won’t sympathize with you. You actually deserve it. Who knows, you might even be sued for obstructing that technician in carrying out his work.
What, after all that covering up, you still get raped! Ai… don’t blame us guys. You know this kind of instinct and desire can’t be controlled. God made us like that! What to do? It must be something that you have done that caused you to get this kind of treatment. Think back, the way you walk, you smile, or maybe they way you move your arms. These can be factors too.
I think the best way is still to stay at home. Don’t go out. As all of us know, a woman’s place is at home. Marital rape? Raped by uncle and grandfather? Father too? What? Brothers are also involved! Woman, oh woman, I told you not to move. Just sit in your room like a statue. Don’t even think of moving your finger as this action can get us to be excited!
What? You want to defend yourself? No, no, no! Shh!!! Keep your mouth shut. Don’t even think of talking. Your voice might just arouse us. Don’t blame us if something untoward happen to you.
Woman, know your position well. You are just a piece of ‘meat’. No matter whether you are covered or uncovered, you would still be preyed upon. Your fate lies in the mouth of a cat, tiger or leopard. Count your blessings if your predator walk past you and does not show any interest in you. But then, sorry if that beast decides to devour you. Shoot that beast? No way, they are made to be like that. They are carnivorous, you know? You can’t just go against nature.
Aargh! God, you shouldn’t even create woman at all! They really do cause a lot of problems and bring only trouble! The world would be a better place without them. Or maybe there should be a paradigm shift in our thinking…. Wouldn’t it be better if those beasts were not created in the first place? This thought is worth to be pondered upon.

How to save a life?

Can we just let everything go and hope for the best? One picks the path but never get to choose the course. Whose life is more important? Ours or theirs? Without them, we will extinct; without us, they may survive better. By now, our destruction is irreversible. We are their only hope of continuous persistence. We seem to make the same mistake over and over again, and yet only a small part of us understood our error. The rest kept doing it in greed. How to save a life?

Lullaby

They didn't have you where I come from
Never knew the best was yet to come
Life began when I saw your face
And I hear your laugh like a serenade

I slip in bed when you're asleep
To hold you close and feel your breath on me
Tomorrow there'll be so much to do
So tonight I'll drift in a dream with you

As you wander through this troubled world
In search of all things beautiful
You can close your eyes when you're miles away
And hear my voice like a serenade

How long do you want to be loved
Is forever enough, is forever enough
How long do you want to be loved
Is forever enough
Cause I'm never, never giving you up

Welcoming the summer solstice, at the same time giving thanks to all Gods and Goddesses (if plural for princess is princesses, then I presume the same goes for goddess), spirits of the living and the non-living on Earth. I am so grateful for the EXCELLENT news!

Fish, fish, oh my fishes!

Day 0: Water conditioned
Day 1: 3 fishes, 1 died
Day 4: Added 3, all dead ( didn't know why since I followed all the procedure required; left the bag in the fish bowl to stabilize the temperature, etc)
Day 5: Added 4, 2 died the next day
Day 6: Added 2 ...
Day 9: 1 died

An Update

So what has been going on since I last wrote? Alot ... happy days, stressful days, hair-pulling days, tearful days, going-crazy days, pray-like-there-is-no-tomorrow days, disappointed days, suicidal days ... you name it, I experienced it. The semester was over a week ago, the relief was overwhelmingly welcomed. The students were difficult this semester, and challenged, mentally and concentratedly. That was where most of my crazy and hair pulling days and part of suicidal days consisted of. Then came the rejection, which was very hard to face. Then came the responsibilty of being a friend where the experience was eye-opening with dashes of anger management. Then there was the long awaited wish germinated, which brightened the hope in me. And now, last but definitely not the least, I am still waiting for the outcome of this wish ...

In the course of stumbling through the path, I found a new interest. By the way things are going so far, I clearly need lots of amelioration.

Welcome Spring, and the new lives you brought with you.

Snowboarding Rocks!!!

Feb. 07, 2006: Was I prepared after 2 hours of falling on my derrieres and getting bruises all over my body? You bet I do!!! Took 2 ibuprofen before bed and slept like a baby. Almost afraid to sleep too because I fell so hard the last 2 tries and hit my head hard. The next day, it was not as bad as I thought it would be with the pain reliever taking effect. I should have continued taking some the next day because by the second day, my muscles were so sore that it took so much effort just to open the door, as though one had dumbbells attached to each muscles. Every step felt so heavy. But it was defintely worth all the pain ... I would do it again given the chance. Snowboarding really rocks!!

Here is the proof that someone did drop by yesterday, though I did not see the food being touched. Maybe the sound of the heater chased them away before they had a chance to enjoy it.

Nocturnal visitors

Had visitors yesterday. Saw the footprints. I think it was a family because the prints were in various sizes. They were looking for food since it is so scarce right now. Maybe I will put out some of Frenchtoast's food for them tonight. I think they will like the treats, especially the alfalfa. It would be great if I can capture them in video tonight . I want to see how many they are.

Snow snow go away

Freezing cold at night. So quiet, so peaceful.
So peaceful, so beautiful, yet a parlous
This was what I get when I got ready to leave the house.

Semester is over

Another semester came and gone. My my ... what an unusual one this was! Thank goodness it is over and hopefully I get to catch some sleep and do something wonderful. Take a break from teaching and rushing to finish assignments. Got the final grades posted and still have a stack of reports and finals that the students left for me. I can't really blame them. Who would want to see all those when one is relieved from the craziness?
Before I forget, I'd better cover part of Frenchtoast cage so that she is not too chilly. Her ears seem nippy.
Happy holidays and may all is fine!

Happy Thanksgiving

It's THANKSGIVING!!! I have so much to thank for, yet so much to pray for, but for now, I am just thanking the goodness in life. The snow has been falling since I opened my eyes, and it will keep falling for 2 days non-stop, according to the weatherperson. I just hope that no flight will be delayed so that everyone get to go home to their family safely, especially my sunshine. I am preparing my food a day early because I do not think I have enough time to cook tomorrow. It will be just the two of us with Frenchtoast but it may change, last minute arrangement ...

I was actually going to write something else but I strayed ... Oh yeah, writing story sucks! I tried it but I have to admit it is no fun at all. I may even end up with twisted spine and swollen wrist. Dangerous!!

One year of searching

It just happened one day when I woke up and realised that I did not belong here. I left and little did I know that it would be the most unusual journey I had. I reached the city and managed to get a room after spending several days looking. It was not much, but it would do for now. A week after that I got a job waitressing in a restaurant. And there, I spoke to you for the first time, exactly a year and a half after I started. But I knew you even before that. You would come in once a week, always alone, got seated, then asked for Perrier, always Perrier. Even till now, each time I see a bottle of Perrier, it reminds me of you, and it makes me smile. I looked at you when I had the chance, sometimes I noticed you looking at me, but quickly looked away when I set my eyes on you. I never served you, till that day. My heart nearly jumped out when I saw you. Maybe your heart does know who is the right one for you. You asked for your usual, then you ordered your dinner. Your voice, so deep, so soothing. You never understand how a voice can drugged you till you experience it yourself. When you were done with dinner, I asked whether you would like to have some desserts. You said yes if you get to share it with me. I laughed, thinking what a sweet talker you were, and how you would definitely break my heart. Indeed, it did not turn out exactly that. But you were serious about dessert, and I told you that I would get off work in 2 hours. You said ok, paid for your dinner and left. I thought that was it till I left the restaurant 2 hours later and I saw you. We started talking and you walked me home. Something special emerged after that day. We did not have dessert that day but we did the day after that, and the day after that, and the day after that... You own a bakery, 3 blocks from my place. It turned out that you were the one who saw me first and that was how you knew where I worked.... to be continued ...

Welcome Snow

Oh yeah, this is the time of the year filled with holiday spirits and with it comes the snow. It started yesterday evening when the temperature dropped from 45F to 25F and the sky was so cloudy, not the usual kind of cloudy that you see on a fine warm weather, you know the snow is definitely coming when you see this kind of cloudiness. It started with snow shower followed by flurry, then huge chunk of lake effect snow all through the night. By morning, everything was covered in snow. When I looked out of the window and saw a couple of snow covered pine trees with a lamp post in the middle, it reminds me of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe chronicles ... sigh ...
Happy Winter, may I have a good one this year. For others, stay warm.
